About Dr. Hoffmann
Board-certified rheumatologist Thomas Hoffmann, MD, enthusiastically cares for patients at Rheumatology Solutions in Windcrest, TX. Dr. Hoffmann retired from the Army after eight years of practice at San Antonio Military Medical Center. There, he was on the rheumatology fellowship faculty, where he trained rheumatologists and internists.
Dr. Hoffmann received a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He completed his medical degree at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and his internal medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He also completed a rheumatology fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda.
Dr. Hoffmann previously served as a medic with Special Forces. He’s highly skilled at improving chronic pain and overall patient health using simple, yet effective, methods like diet and physical activity. He maintains his medical credentials by staying up-to-date with the latest advances in rheumatology. Dr. Hoffmann is dual-board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful children. Dr. Hoffmann’s hobbies include yoga, fitness, meditation, home improvement, motorcycling, and building fountains.
