About Dr. DesRosier
Kenneth DesRosier, MD compassionately cares for patients at Rheumatology Solutions in Windcrest, TX. He’s a former USAF Flight Surgeon with more than a decade of experience practicing medicine in the San Antonio area.
Dr. DesRosier earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa and completed his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Dr. DesRosier finished his training with an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
He retired from the US Air Force in 2008 after 31 years of military service. For eight years, he served on faculty with the Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, where he trained general internists and rheumatologists. Dr. DesRosier has extensive experience treating patients with diverse rheumatologic conditions.
He maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. Dr. DesRosier is dual-board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS). He’s a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR).
Dr. DesRosier earned Top Doctor in San Antonio Scene Magazine. He served as an investigator on pharmaceutical studies that evaluated the effectiveness of new biologic agents for systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. DesRosier warmly welcomes his patients to Rheumatology Solutions and looks forward to serving them.
